CSS served inline - why?
It seems like most boards I come across serve their CSS inline.
It's just a few more KB/page that needs to be served, causing more traffic and slower page delivery. So I always ask myself: Why do they do that? Any idea? |
I do that with new sites as I work on things but after that it goes to the server.
|
I think it might be because it's that way by default and many users don't know how to chmod the appropriate directory to make linked styles work.

i agree with amy.
it's the default setting, and most admins don't know that this can be changed at all. |
