Users Can't Register Sometimes - Is It Fixed? Thanks!
 

UPDATE: I've built a new style sheet. I'd appreciate it if a few of you could click the Registration link below, agree to the rules, and scroll down to see if the "Complete Registration" button is visible. Muchas gracias!

I've gotten a number of emails from users that can't register at my forums. They can consent to follow the rules, but don't see the Complete Registration button on the username/password/etc page.

One user thinks it was because the font size on his computer defaults to large. When he changed it to normal, he could see the button. Another user tried that but it didn't work.

I've been unable to recreate the problem in Firefox 1.5, IE 6 or IE 7. I'd really appreciate any insight you have. I have made virtually no modifications to the registration process... what could be causing the button to disappear?! I will offer an ocean of good karma in return for any help!

Doesn't seem to be a submit button on the register page - don't see it in the source code either. Have you tried reverting your registration templates?

When I view the page, I always see the Complete Registration button. That screenshot was from a member.

I went ahead and reverted to the original version. Can you see it now?

I went to the actual reg. screen and viewed the source. I'm still not seeing it.

Your source truncates with "From time to time, the administrators may want to send you "

Nothing is there after that.

What web browser and version are you using? I'll download a copy and see if I can recreate it. I don't want to nag you while I make dozens of minor changes trying to fix it. :pirate:

Uh oh. That's what my primary browser. Do you (or anyone else!) have any theories on what could cause a page to be served incompletely?
