Countdown Timer
 

There use to be a countdown timer that was user implemented via their UserCP. (see attachment). Once a user filled out the necessary information, it then showed up in their signature. Is this still available for 3.5+?

I have been desperate for a hack like this for soooooo long. I've asked a couple of times but was basically told that I should create a new BB code for it. I'm looking for something exactly like what you are requesting. I would love love love to see something like this.

I don't suppose this is too hard to do....
I may put my hands on this when I find a free spot of time (but that could a week or two), this sounds nice, would like to have it at my own forum as well :)

wouldnt it be simpler to just make it announce things in the calender

IMHO the sig is a pretty good place for it.
And once this got going it's only a small thing to also have the option of putting the counted to event in the callendar....
