Only certain usergroups can input custom field, but everyone can view it?
 
I'm trying to figure out a way that users can input a value into a field but it would only display for certain usergroups, but everyone can see it.

For example, I have a custom profile field where users can input there username on a certain site. This username is appended to the end of a url that calls an iframe displaying their page from that site.

I want only certain usergroups to be able to display their page but I want every to be able to see them.
