[WISH] Pogo.com Like Point System
 

I wasn't sure if I should include this in my pogo like avatar wish or not, but it could be an unrelated addon or update

The wish is for a points system similar to what they have at http://www.pogo.com it could be a unique to the arcade system or it could use ucash.

Each user starts out with a set amount of "tokens" or points say 5000. It costs them points each time they play a game. At pogo it seems like the points are built into the games and that isnt really possible here, but im sure there could be some point ratio developed based on the ibpro league stuff or final score in games.



Points would be used for

Playing the games. It might be nice to let admins set cost per game. So we could do something like pacman costs 1 point to play and snake costs 2 points to play.

Lottery. A weekly, daily, or monthly prize drawing lottery like system that could have points prizes, forum prizes, self text entry, or whatever.

I get what you're saying. A points system within the arcade that would do something like:

If user scores 100 - 200 points in game, then they get 50 "credits" added to their "total credits". I'll use credits to distinguish difference between score "points" and the winnings from a game. I choose to not use the term "tokens" as it being too much like pogo.com.

I'm a member there myself, so I know exactly what you're talking about with all of this. ;)

I think its a great idea. I would love to be able to use a "token/credit" system.
