Java(script) Color Overlay?
I am looking for a Java/Javascript color overlay for a skin im making. I want that skin to have a grayscale version whitout me having to redo everything. There is a css tag that allows me to do that but it only works on IE. However I saw a few sites that had a grayscale overlay effect that worked in Firefox. Im thinking they used some sort of java script. If I would recal the site I would go back there and snatch it from their code. But I don't :(. Any help in finding this is apreaciated!

I'm not sure what you're getting at.
You want to change the color of an existing skin by loading a javascript variable to, for example, apply a color shift to everything? Something like the way the forum skin goes monochrome when you click on Log Out? |
It seems they're discussing the logging out effect.
Have you got any links to sites that are doing it in Firefox?? |
not on this pc, but I know that there is a css command however it only works in ie and I saw it work on FF. And yes that would be a coloshift to everything. I think it would be javascript as FF would support it and you can write alot of stuff using java.
