Hide WOL from Guests?

Hi peeps

Is there away to hide the WOL from guests please?

You can change that in the usergroup settings for Guests.
No hack needed :)

Go to AdminCP
Open Usergroup Manager
Edit group "Guests" (id=1)
Scroll halfway down and you'll see "Who's Online Permissions"
Than edit the radiobuttons to what you want and save the settings.
(vB 3.5.3)

I also have WOL excluded for guests.
When I browse my forums as a guest, I get a "Not logged in" message when opening the Who's online page. Works as designed.

If it doesn't work for you, than maybe another hack on your board is interfering with the correct use of the usergroup permissions. Note, that's just one of the possibilities :)

This permission allows members of this group to view the online.php page. This page shows a detailed list of currently active users, their locations, etc. This permission only applies to online.php, not the "Currently Active Users" list on the forumhome page.

I have a very special welcome-message ..

If I say in ACP: Can view forum: No ... they only see the login panel ...

So ... I gave that a Yes and on all the other forum parts No!
Now they can see only the welcome-message and the WOL on the bottom of ForumHome, but can't access online.php.

So ... Is there a way to make the WOL invisible and the welcome-message visible for the guests?
