Increasing font size of text in posts?

How would I go about increasing the size of the font in threads/posts? (I'm talking about the default one, not changing the size in posts with the SIZE BB code :D)

in the main CSS, set a font size in the alt1 and alt2 classes like 12pt or whatever you fancy.
