'New Posts' Link Below Thread

Description
This merely adds a link to see all new posts between the Previous Thread and Next Thread links. This is handy for those who are checking and replying to a lot of new posts, and for those who do not want to scroll all the way back to the top to click the button. This saves a lot of time and blends in really well with what's already there.

Templates to edit: 1 (SHOWTHREAD)
Files to Upload: 0

Instructions
1. In your AdminCP, go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Edit Templates -> SHOWTHREAD.

2. Find:
HTML Code:

<a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]t=$threadid&amp;goto=nextoldest">$vbphrase[prev_thread]</a>
|

Below put:
HTML Code:

<!-- New Posts Link -->
<a href="search.php?do=getnew">New Posts</a>
|

Haha. I added it to my forum and my friend told me to release it here since no one had. I'll give you credit. =D

You get just as much as I do...you're the one who told me where the code went, all I did was change the link and wording

Anywho, I appreciate the credit, even though I really had nothing to do with it :p

Nice mod. It's funny how something so simple can help out so much. No surprise though. :)

In Forums & Moderators, you'll have to allow the forum to be searched. You may also have to set that in permissions as well.
