v3 arcade converer?
 

i saw it mentioned in the header thread. I'm wondering if theres any progress on this? We have a v3 arcade on vb3.0.3 and want to upgrade to ibpro when we finish the vb3.5 upgrade. With the ammount of games we have... it'd be a pain to add them all manually so if you have something to convert just the games it'd be cool, i'm not worried about the scores since i'll probably prune them whatever happens.

I would be happy if anybody else would have done such a converter, but I started one and may finish it now after releasing the update to v2.5.4+ :)

No, what I would like to have is a Converter that detects if there is the old v3arcade or the actual one (for vB 3.5.x) and converts everything to ibPro ...

I just don't have the time to test conversion right now, a basic script is done, but untested.

What if incase i have the patience to add each game?? Will there be any clashes if i uninstall v3arcade and install ibproarcade??

The main reason i am movingover to ibproarcade is .. If some users plays some game for say 10 or 15 mins he gets a login screen while submitting the score.. This is one big problem for me coz users complained that they beat the top scorer but they lost their score..

ibproarcade has this problem?? Anywayz what are the other benefits of ibProarcade.. I just read somewhere that its much better than the v3arcade

I had no trouble converting the hundreds of games from 3.0.X to 3.5.X. It comes with a script that does just that.

As for new games being released? Don't count on it!!!!

Ash, your members need to have "Remember Me?" checked off when they login. It has nothing to do with the arcade script. It's vB's scripts seeing your members as idle while they're playing a flash game.

I've had this problem before. This fixes it. Just have your members check off "Remember Me?" when they login from now on.
