Post in forum for staff to view only

Hi

Is there a mod currently, or possible to make a forum where anyone can post in, but wont be able to view threads other people post. Only staff can view all threads. And then eventually, I should be able to make the forum "public" such that everyone can view all threads.

What is the ultimate goal you're trying to accomplish? I have something similar going on with the forms hack but I'm not sure how it works.

Yeah cause we have some online game tournaments. And people would submit replays, with attachments in their thread to a forum where only staff and themself can view. Then once the event is over we'll have the forum public for people to download the replays. Is it possible to attach files in forms hack?

Try playing around with the usergroup permissions for that forum.

This should do it but I haven't tried it out myself.

Can View Forum Yes
Can View Thread Content Yes
Can View Others' Threads No
Can Search Forums No
Can Reply to Own Threads Yes
Can Reply to Others' Threads No
