install arcade games
 

i currently got ibProArcade 2.51 installed on my forum, and i downloaded the 590 arcade games pack...and uploaded into the zip folder...and i try to isntall it, but it wont work

any help?

no no no upload to your arcade/tar folder as ib games are tar ;-),after you upload them go to your adminCP/arcade/add game you should see them there

where di du get the games??? im dying to find some

but when i put it in tar, it wont do it

Jus to clarify - you are using the old version of ibProArcade?

If these games are in zip file format it usually means they are v3arcade games which you will then need to install manually via FTP and AdminCP.

1. Upload the .swf to the arcade folder and the 2 gif files to the arcade/images/ folder
2. Log into your Arcade Settings in AdminCP and select add game.
3. Open the php file that came wit the zip file and take note of the various settings
4. Where it asks for gname value - this must be the gname.swf (minus the .swf part) for example pacman.swf - you would enter pacman as the gname value.
5. You should be able to easily figure out the Game Title, Height and Width, Odjects, Description and Controls from the .php file

If the files are in tar format upload them to the arcade/tar/ file and make sures it's properties are set to 777 - goto Add Game in your AdminCp and click install from the list of uploaded tars
