How do I place the calender on a html page?

I want to place a small calender on my home page. When going to calender.php I find a small version of the calender for last and next month at the bottom of the page. Is it possible to place such a small version on my a html page?
The html page is located outside the forum root:
html page: www.mysite.com/index.html
forum root: www.mysite.com/forum
