Custom Title...... help?
 

Hi y'all. I'm using the custom title feature on my forum.... I want every member who reaches 501 posts to be able to create their own custom title.

SO.... how do I do that? I realize that I probably have to create another usergroup for them to go into and activate the custom title feature for that usergroup. However...

HOW? Is there a way that they are automatically promoted to that usergroup at 501 posts? Some permission setting somewhere? I don't want it based on date joined nor on reputation level... it needs to be that once they hit 501, they are moved to the new usergroup.

How do I do that? and can you please explain in great detail? I get confused easily

there is a promotion feature...it's in the user groups section of the admin panel...check it out

thank you, I know about that and I have checked it out... I have it set so that promotion is based on # of posts, namely 501 posts. However it is not promoting users over 500 posts to that usergroup.

Is there some other setting somewhere that I should be tweaking?

It updates every hour so it won't do it right away.
