Subscriptions payed through SMS???
 

Hello,
I wonder if someone knows where I could grab a "hack" or whatever it's called so I can charge for subscriptions through sms and cc just like this guy has done here on his forum http://www.synd.nu/forum/vip.php

If there isnt any "hack" avalible I could consider to buy it from a programmer so if you are a programmer and know how to do this send me a pm or reply to this thread.

Got a good sms processor already setup and that is willing to help me out with what ever info we might need.

Also note that what I want is too charge the members for viewing attachments not to become a member. They should be able to make threads and write posts but not view attachments unless they paid a subscription fee.

hey, first this is in the wrong forum.
However I made something for my own site, I'm not going to release this, but I'll say a bit how I did it (you will have to know how to code!):
Make an account @ mobilemoney.biz
Make a custom payment thing.
let the user give it in on your site and you can controlate it with a script on their site in xml (you have to use a xml parser).
If it's correct you can put them the table for paying members and change theri usergroupid (study how vb does it with paid customers).

would be a very cool hack if some1 made and released this..

I'm sorry, but I wont do it as this is now something that is unique on my site, I made really a lot of hacks, but don't release them because then I lose something unique and I have a lot of extra work with supporting the things etc.

However I gave basic instructions, I think any coder should be able to do it now

I dont want to use mobilemoney.biz want to use my current sms proccessor.
Also I dont think a payment solution would give you competition from me
your payment would still be able to what niche your forum is in and my forum is in 100% swedish.

It is possible. All you need is the API specification.
I've already implemented smth. like this on my board, users can buy virtual coins via SMS.
