vB and CSS...
 
Will there ever be a day where we will be able to get away from the constant template edits after upgrades? Wouldn't it be nice if skinning your board would consist of only customizing your CSS file?

Am I just dreaming?

It is mandatory that vBulletin works in all browsers. Acheiving this goal with a CSS only layout would be difficult.

If it bothers you to the point where it bothered me, do what I did.. I got rid of most of the tables in my templates.

Eventually I got tired of doing it, and threw in a few tables.. but oh well.

With the release of the new IE, we should have a good CSS rendered page in all major browsers.

That is if M$ make IE standards compliant, personally I don't have much faith in them doing so.
