vb.org Archive - Simple - user's avatar on index.php file?

I just want to put the user's avatar on the index.php file when they are logged in. I'm not worried about it not loading or a 404 when the visitor is not logged in (I have the script that lets you mod for guests/members). I just do not know how to make index.php accept the avatar string.

It seems there must be some kind of includes or reference to the DB that I'm not aware of. Anyway if someone would be so kind as to figure this out I'd greatly appreciate it! It would be nice for someone to see their avatar when they are logged in at the top of my forum. :classic:
