Macro / push button hack?
 

Basically, I want to place a box under the smilies in the postbit display. This box will have a list of links (with the more button for when there's too many links to display). Each link, when clicked, will act like the smiles box, in that it'll post either a bunch of text (from a phrase probably), or a Replacement Variable (e.g. it posts ****key****), and the Replacement Variable Manager replaces it with a bunch of text (like normal).

Now since this is somewhat similar to the smilies box, I was looking at the code for it, but it's some odd stuff. Anyone got some pointers for this?

FYI, this is for my general tech support forum, and as you can imagine, we've got to repeat ourselves a bit. I'd imagine others could use this as well, for one-touch warnings, RTFM messages, etc :)

Saw that earlier, however it looks like that's only for adding them to above the reply window, not to the side.
