Smart FtP
 

ok,,i know im new,but im starting to loose it,,,i have been trying to upload my config file via smart ftp for the last hour,,I put in Ip,,login,,password,,it says waiting then>disconnect,,,,,,what am I doing wrong,,,,i shut firewall off etc,am I missing something,,or doing something wrong ?
the worst part is,,after I connect & transfer config,,,,i'll probably find out i messed up there too,,,,lmao

If you have cpanel then you should be able to use the same username and password that you use to log into cpanel.

Make sure there's no spaces in the username and password boxes.

Harmor,I really appreciate your time,,i have tried that still no luck,,i let host know about problem,,maybe somehow its them,,but i doubt that lol,,,,,,i guess you can"t teach an old dog new tricks,,,,,I have to get up for work in 4 hours,to go to work kids get upset when theres no food,so todays another day,,,,I thought i can do this vb stuff,,,,but who knows,,,,im not giving up,,,,thanks again for your time & have a nice day.:dead:

I'm not sure if this means additional FTP accounts or not...

Log into your cPanel and look for "Ftp Accounts" and if the number is "0 / 0" then there is a chance that you cannot use an FTP client.
Like I said above i'm not sure if that means you can assign additional ftp accounts to people.
