mysite.com/forum not working

Hi all… I did some customizing of my forumhome template and all was fine and dandy. Then I tried to access my site by just typing in the domain name, which normally would take you strait to the forum home page because I have an .htaccess pointing to it. However once it pulls it up all the images don’t show up and the log in is not working. I had the same issue when I used a CMS system and I had to put the full url’s on anything in that page in order for it to work. Because the url tags would skip my forum path and start with the images folder. I assume that’s why the log in would not work as well.

I was just wondering is their an easier way to fix this problem? Currently I just have the .htaccess point to a redirect page which then redirects to full url path of the forum. Because in the full url path it works no problem. However if you type the domainname.com/forum or just domainname.com it doesn’t work.

On a side not when you type domainname.com/forum it shows the directory and while you cant really see anything in there I was wondering if there is a way to make that not show up. Thanks for any answers to any of these questions.

Cheers!

1- this is not related to a hack, you just badly installed your forum and you did not enter the url properly in the admincp...

>> AdminCP >> vBulletin Options >> vBulletin Options >> Site Name / URL / Contact Details

2- go to http://vbulletin.com/forum/ for support on the actual vbulletin.. this forum is for support on hacks, and this is actually not a hack you are referring to, so maybe you would not receive the proper support (even if i help here!)

Thanks for responding.

I changed my homeforum template. Something vb.com has considered a hack in my past experiences. So I assumed this would be the correct place to post this issue.

I installed the forum correctly; everything was fine until I hacked the homepage.
