Kid with potential
 

This guy has been a member of my forums forever and I never realized his talent for themes until he made a post about it. I gave him access to this site to play with since it has virtually no traffic http://www.rosecitylife.com/ IMO he has a real talent for it, it's his first attempt at a skin for vb.

For a first attempt, thats pretty good actually.

Simple, yet effective. I like the header, but it does become redundant. Just wondering, how old is he?

24 ;) Thanks. Wow didn?t see this post till now. Typically I make simple little skins for InvisionFree lol. But Eric said give it a try with a vB layout. I got to say it?s a little more advanced than anything I?ve ever work with. vB has an amazing set-up as far as CSS editing goes and has opened up a whole new world. Anyhow, there?s still a lot of work to be done but when it is complete Eric will post it up here. Thanks much.

The only critisim i can make the popup menu body has no borders therefore it is mixed with the body background. If you add a border for popup menu body it will be better i think. But the colors and everything else is perfect.

Also why dont you change the forum width as same as banner width ?

its aite but serious im 18 when i was 16 i made a propa advanced style took me 2weeks but was worth it,and its not exactly hard when you use dark colours

Anywho, it looks good, but see if you can find some other shots to use for images other then headers....
