--- Sorry, folks...I seem to have made an error in the restore command, but this has been corrected and the file download has been updated.
My humble apologies for any inconvenience this error may have caused. *blush*

This isn't a hack as such. It is a shell script to make backing up and restoring your database painless and brainless.
It runs on any UNIX/Linux server using telnet, and is designed especially for those who know little or nothing about MySQL. When the script is run, you are given a menu to choose your desired function, and prompts guide you the rest of the way.
The only things you need to know use this to backup/restore your database is:
- Your database name
- Your database username
- Your database password

That's it...that's all.
Full instructions are included both within the script file itself, and in a separate readme.

this is bloddy great this thing :)

I use it all the time to backup my baord didnt know there was a bug in it coz i havent tryed to restore it , but am glad you fixed it dude
