Flashchat Show User is in chat on postbit
 

Was wondering if anybody can or has done this? Basically it would be a text or image that shows in the users postbit telling others he/she is currently in the chatroom. :rolleyes:

i would also like this one as well, I think its quite simple but I don't have time to look at it at the moment. I would assume it would be a query to the database table for that username to see if they are in the chat system. Much the same way the main forum page one works.

However you would be running a query to that table for every post on every page which may slow things down a little. Bottom line is on a heavily used site it might be a bit of a resource cow?

dunno , I'd like to see it though none the less.
