IRC /me command
Note: this is not a new a plugin, this is actually sort of a repost of this plugin. It was a bit burried in that thread and actually should have been a new product.
This plugin was originally based on Dean C's version. However version 2 is a major overhaul of the /me command, this version rewrite the /me line to [action=username]text[/username]. This solution provides better cusomization and easier usage. Plus it also work in other plugins that parse bb code. And makes it completely quote safe. Editing your post will reveal the translation of the "/me ..." to "[action=username]...[/username]", so it might not be the nicest looking variation. So in short, this plugin rewrites the /me tags when posting instead of converting it on-the-fly like other plugins do. By default it forces a vb Code tag definition for [action] but you can simply override it by defining the [action] vbCode tag through the admin interface. The default replacement used is: Code:
<span style="font-weight: bold;">* {option} {param}</span> |
Nice! Just installed because I'm too lazy to do anything other than install a product than do something that requires brain power. I'm a real lazy admin, but I do appreciate the time spent on vB products. Keep it up!

I figured that I should mention that this plugin works with vBulletin 4.0.x, as I've just successfully installed it now.
