Members that joined in the last X days

How easy would it be to create a hack that found a list of the members that joined in the last X number of days (e.g. the last 14 days)?

How about getting a list of members that joined between X and X days ago (e.g. between 7 and 14 days ago)?

Obviously once the list of members was worked out, further things could be done (e.g. send a PM, change usergroup, etc).

Is this possible?
