New Posts Modifications

Would like to make it so that when you enter a specific forum that the "New Posts" can...

Be changed to a different name like "New Threads".
Will show new posts only in certain forums so filtered.
Will show the New Posts in order based on Start Date not Post.

If it matters we already have the hack that allows you to view forums by start date now.

How do you change "New Posts" in the nav bar to something else in only a certain certain section.
I think Ive firgured out the rest of this to make it work...

Only way I can think to do that is to have a navbar template for that perticular section only with a different phrase or hard coded link

I think you can use conditionals like if ( thisscript == showthread ) as conditionals. They exist I'm sure.
