Linked Forums

This might be applicable to me only because I run a sports site, but I was thinking of the possibility of having linked forums. When I say that, I mean when you're in forum X, there would be links to similar forums Y and Z.

Example - On the Philadelphia Eagles forum, there would be lniks to the Philadelphia Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers forums.

I think I might know how to do this, but I was wondering if it has either been done already, or if someone else would like to take this task on?

Make subforums in your forums with 'forum link' set to related fora. Hope that makes sense.

I know how to do that, but:

1] Involves making more forums
2] I'd like to make them show up instead of subforum links, show up as the logo for said team.

re: 2

you can use html in the description box in the forum manager. I'm not sure about the forum title one, but you may be able to do so there too. If so then you can use html to use the images instead of the text.

But am I able to do that in the forum itself as opposed to the forum index?

it will show everywhere where the forum title/description show up

Then that's a bit too much for me. I just want it to show up within the forum itself.
