vbulletin sale ?

Hi,

Sorry that I was not a regular at this time last year :)
so this question goes to the long-timers and staff :D

Does vb have a sale for christmas or new-year coming up?

I am thinking of getting a second license and was wondering if I should wait for some special discount. I know that most of software/hosting do open up a special discounts on christmas/new-year.

wondering if VB had same plans :)

:ninja:

There has never been a discount. The prices have always been $160 USD for the owned option and $85 for the leased option.

that was quick :D

Thanks for the info.

will apply for a new license today :)

is it worth buying second-hand ?

I would never buy one second hand, it's to easy to get scammed and takes much longer to do then just buying from the company directly.

you get a discount on your 3rd+ licenses

I thought that only applied if you bought all of the licenses at the same time though.

that's what I thought at first; but, no ... you will get the discount as soon as you purchase your 3rd license (or 4th license-don't remember)

Chris M 12-07-2005 03:02 PM

If you have 2 or more licences the cost goes down to $148 upon purchase of your 3rd licence :)

i.e., for 3 licences, you pay $160 + $160 + $148 :)

I did not realize that! I had thought I read on vB.com somewhere about it being an 'all or nothing' type thing. I'm getting ready for licenses #4 & #5 so this is very good news to hear.
