Restrict Access on High Load
 

From my searching this hack has been suggested but nobody has taken this on yet. I would be glad to help test a hack that:

Restricts access to my board to certain groups when load is high.

OR:

If someone could outline how they would approach coding this hack I will attempt it myself and release.

Hmm...I think you misread. Notice the bolded portion:

Restricts access to my board to certain groups when load is high.

This way when the load is X (as set in the admin) only Registered, Moderators (or another group) may gain access. Currently the load setting in the Admincp locks out everyone but the Admin.
