Alright, since that was the answer, does anyone think it would be possible to assign a usergroup the ablity to make threads stickies on a selected forum basis?

I would imagine this would be a plugin. So if someone can figure that out, I'm requesting it.

I created a usergroup that people get assigned to during registration and only that group can post to my two events forums.

I'd like to give them the power to make threads stickies.

That's not possible, as those actions require moderator permissions.

How about instead of adding each moderator to a forum, adding a usergroup as the moderator of a forum?
