auto-post from IMAP email
I receive server (not the vB server) status updates by email (ASCII) once a day. That email is send by a specific address with always the same subject line.
What I would like to do is to automagically check for that email every so often, and if it is there, create a post from it in one of my forums. I searched this forum and didn't really find anything that would work for 3.5.1, any idea whether there is such a mod elsewhere, or how difficult it would be for someone to code that? Thanks in advance. |
Sigh, only 7 views at the time of me posting this.
I didn't realize this would be such an exotic request. POP3 mail would work too as long as the mod doesn't delete the mail off of the server. |
I requested a similar feature recently. Will continue watching this thread.

BUMP! BUMP! BUMP!
But the POP3 option would be more flexible to people I think as well. Not all services carry IMAP for their email. |
