my style gets overwritten by default. why?
 

I have replaced the entire default style after a fatal problem of no one being able to post. Now I made the css changes in the admincp so that the forum will look the colors I want. But the problem is that when loading the page I only see my chosen colors for a second than suddenly the default look overtakes all!!!

what is up with that?? someone please let me know!

You probably changed the background colors of tcat and thead, but left the gradient images there, so those appear in front of the background colors you defined. Edit those two CSS entries and remove the code that puts the gradient on there.

ah the gradient setting is the default blue color!

Is there a way to change the gradiant to whatever color I want? I am not so technically adept in these things -- yet -- :)
