big problem

ok so i had to restore my my forum. So i made 2 backups.....both backups i know i had the setting set correctly and they downloaded fine with no problems. Now when i restore either one i have a few errors....

1.No threads or posts shown

2.At the top it says "fatal error in functions.php on line 2532" or something (can give exact quote and line if needed)

3.When tryin to login i get a header error message

now when i go into phpmyadmin i can see the threads and posts so i know they are there but it's like there is something wrong so they aren't being shown.

i restored a backup from a month ago and that one works fine and i backed them up the same way (but backed them up from different servers). Also my backup that doesn't work is 123 mb so it seems like all the info is in there and the threads show up in phpmyadmin so it seems like something that can be fixed so i'm wondering if anybody could please help me out and let me know if there is anyway to fix this.I'm sure you need to know more so just shoot me a pm if you can help or post in the thread. If you help me out with this i will try and repay you anyway i can

First try to re-upload all non-image vB files except install.php. Make sure you upload them in ASCII.

ok i'll try this but i don't think it has anything to do with the files because when i restore the backup from a month ago it works.

should i still reup all non image vb files?

I had a quick look at your backup file, and the solution is simple. :D

Your datastore cache in the backup is corrupted. Upload tools.php from the do_not_upload folder of your vBulletin distribution to your admincp directory. Then point your browser to http://www.myboard.com/admincp/tools.php and run [Usergroup / Forum Cache] and [Options Cache]. Your problems should be fixed (not checked if there are more problems).

Make sure to remove tools.php after you're finished!!!

PS In your backup file you also have create database statements (for your main and for a test database????). In 90% of the cases it is better not to include create database statements when making a backup.
