best way to deal with usergroup permissions on custom page
 

i am going to have a lot of custom pages and after a while i will be charging a membership fee to access those pages. but for the time being they will be free.

whats the best way to write the code to validate the usergroup? should i hardcode the usergroupid into the code or is there another way?

Just add some custom Usergroup Permissions. You can read how in our tutorial section.
