Imageshack powered gallery!
 

I was thinking...
...how about a imageshack powered gallery?

I'm thinking just another gallery with the basic gallery features, but instead of hosting them yourself you would upload them to imageshack and provide the link:
And the hack would use the imageshack thumbnail for thumbnail and the imagelink for the link to view the picture. (Leading them to imageshack if hotlinking is turned off / Leading them to a a page with a small header linking back to your page, maybe including some stats and a forward/backward function if hotlinking is turned on)
Would be great to have a tracking feature aswell, where you can see who's clicked which picture and how many times a picture has been clicked.

I don't know how automated the upload process can be. But i would happy to have three input fields, one for the thumbnail, one for the imageshack link and one for the direct link. And insert every link, every time, every picture.

I'm guessing imageshack would frown upon the hotlinking function on larger boards, but it would be nice for the smaller ones.

Has anyone though or maybe made something like this already?

Yes there is.
When you upload an image they provide you with thumbnail url, hotlink url, link url etc.

I'd love this too, hopefully some of the coders will see this :)
