Age restriction?
 

I had posted this question on vbulletin.com, however it was recommended that I post here instead. On my previous phpBB forums, I had it set up that no one under 18 could register. Had to modify some source code to do it, but it worked great. Now I'd like to do the same with my new vB forum, but it's not "right out of the box" and might be a plugin to moderate user's age. Any tips or advise?

Modify register.php and ensure that you turn COPPA on to deny registrations.

Last question pertaining to this however. What file do I modify to change the Forum Rules text when you do register? I need to make this very clear that my forums is an 18 and over community in case someone BS's their birthdate. TIA.

that would be forum_rules_description :)

Huh, either I'm blind or something, but I've searched for forum_rules_description and I can't find it. I've searched in templates in Styles & Templates and just don't see it. Please point me in in the right direction?

It is a Phrase, make sure to select to search varnames when searching the Phrases.
