A "ghosted" account
 

Good day,

Instead of banning a user who would most likely come back under a different forum name depending on the circumstance, if a user could be ghosted? This way they think they're still a member, but no one else could see their posts.

Naturally this isn't a good option for spammers, but for the normal grade-A ***hole he wouldn't know any different. I believe that since he feels ignored (b/c no one can see his posts), that he would naturally leave and not return being unwanted. Almost like an unknown silent treatment performed by everyone else in the community.

Is this possible? :ninja:
