new forum: suggestions
 

Hi,

I managed to get vb+sigmachat up and working. Since there was a need for chat for our specific community (nepalese), people seem to like it and I got around 350 signups within just under 5 days. Apart from chat and arcade(games), what else is there that I can add/integrate into vb that will make up a great community and attract even more users. (Except blogging).

In short, what could be the greatest addons to vb? except blogs, and with chat/arcade already added. I am thinking of adding gallery from vbadvanced.

Hmm. I'm not sure. It seems like the arcade, chat and a variety of skins are the things my members like the most. My site is all women though so preferences may vary somewhat. The only thing that's really high in demand that I don't have is a photo gallery. Don't have the space for it though :ermm:

Havin ran a community for many years now, add ons are nothing but extra thrills. In my experience the community makes itself and I can add/take away all I wish it does not change the flow on my community.

Cept the arcade gets people stuck in it, lol

How about shoutcast server? for live mp3 playing.
Maybe someone can give me a bandwidth estimates, suggestions on this one too.

till now on my list: vb + chat, arcade, gallery, shoutcast, e-cards.
