Horizontal Yes/No selectors in ACP

vBulletin < 3.5.1 displayed Yes/No selectors in ACP this way:

Code:

o Yes o No
while vBulletin 3.5.1 displays
Code:

o Yes
o No

If you prefer the old way, this Plugin is for you.

With the release of vBulletin 3.5.2 (which does have this as default again), I am withdrawing support for this Hack (not that I supported it anyway, lol)

Quillz 11-03-2005 02:28 AM

Very nice. Just installed it.

Paul M 11-03-2005 03:01 AM

Can you make them right aligned again as well, all the text and yes/no options are currently left aligned to their cells. :)

Citizen 11-03-2005 03:16 AM

Thank god for Kirby.

michaelbenson 11-03-2005 09:52 AM

Ah, much easier now to actually see my preferences.

tokenyank 11-03-2005 10:15 AM

Fantastic... Seems like a trivial thing not to like, but I hated the vertical style! Thanks for this! :D

jesus likes pie 11-03-2005 10:39 AM

Andreas just make kier include this in the original vBulletin :P

nexialys 11-03-2005 10:59 AM

someone at Jelsoft made an error by making this vertical for this version... Andreas is coming to the rescue... (and someone else will loose the job!)

Snake 11-03-2005 12:00 PM

Lovely! :)

Xplorer4x4 11-03-2005 02:38 PM

Who wants to bet this is most installed hack on vb.org with in a week? :p

Gizmo5h1t3 11-03-2005 03:17 PM

gotta ask this, is this only working if u have upgraded to 3.5.1??..as i expect a shitload of new stuff released on here will be marked up as 3.5.1, but may still work on 3.5.0

Andreas 11-03-2005 03:22 PM

This will only work with 3.5.1
Wouldn't make sense on older Versions anyway, as they display o Yes o No by default ;)

Out of curiosity, will the style be reverted in 3.5.2?

JoergZ 11-03-2005 04:07 PM

Hm.. I think I am a noob :ermm:

It's not working for me... I have no other plugins at the hooks admin_complete or admin_global ....

Strange...

Andreas 11-03-2005 04:08 PM

@JoergZ
If you give an ACP login i'll take a look

Chris M 11-03-2005 04:19 PM

Installed and working like a charm :)

Chris

jesus likes pie 11-03-2005 05:21 PM

I'll be installing this once I finish watching Team America World Police :D

JoergZ 11-03-2005 06:53 PM

*INSTALLED*

Thx @Andreas for his help.

We figured out, that there is a problem, if you upload the entire zip-file of the board-software to the server and unpack the package direct on the server. Maybe he will publish the correction here too.

If you upload every file spearate via FTP, then the hack works as Anreas published it.

There is only one file. Secondly it is a plug in. You upload it in the Admin CP. You do not upload it directly to the server so t speak.

Kirby, there one small bug when adjusting a single users permision. The Yes/No option are vertical but the defaults option is aligned vertically with the yes radio button.

The Wise One 11-06-2005 04:41 PM

very nice. i prefer the horizontal view.

ran into a small oddity. when both plugins are active, i lose some of the templates in the template manager. the templates are just not there. this doesnt seem to affect the forums at all. when i disable one of the 2 plugins (doesnt matter which one) all the templates return to the template manager.

When both plugins are active

When one (or both) plugins are disabled

Andreas 11-06-2005 07:55 PM

@Xplorer4x4
This Plugin is For Yes/No radio buttins, not for Yes/No/Other Radio-buttons :)

VBUsers 11-06-2005 08:00 PM

thank you for this!

akanevsky 11-06-2005 08:07 PM

I actually like it vertically, the new way :)

@Xplorer4x4:

Hm.. Don't know what kind of board you are running, but my vB contains more than one file..

Go back and read my posting. There i wrote:

I don't wrote any word about uploading the plugin-xml to the server via ftp.

I report it here http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=163042

Thanks

Andreas 11-10-2005 10:20 AM

Hmm, I don't see how this could cause such problems.
Can you save the HTML of the page with the blank output?

Bulent Tekcan 11-10-2005 10:27 AM

How can I do that ? Becasue only 1-2 second on screen :)

Yorixz 11-10-2005 04:53 PM

murrtex 11-11-2005 06:38 PM
