vb developers should write tutorials

Since the vbulletin developers know what everything is why don't write a tutorial on how to use ajax?

I'm sure some coders here want the satifaction of figuring out for themselves.
But they can still write one, just don't look at it.

There is a tutorial on AJAX, by Zero Tolerance. You can read it Here :)

i agree the devs sort of leave of us in the middle of no where>_> the promised SDK does not exist and i always get myself into corners with something that would be great if there was a tutorial by a dev.

Because the developers are probably too busy fixing bugs and improving vBulletin in general. :) It's up to the community to rise up and assist one another.

Well i think in the early beta stages of 3.5 there have ben official statements saying that there would be coding documentation once 3.5 was finished.

Chris M 11-01-2005 11:58 AM

As is evident by the number of bug reports and the promise of 3.5.1 being released soon, 3.5 is far from finished;)

Actually i think it was said when 3.5 goes Gold, not when it was finished.

Ah ok then:) - I bet all references to it have been removed by now :p

Developer Documentation is an ongoing project. However each of the files have phpDoc comments in them so anyone could build their own documentation.

We never promised an SDK. Though the data managers and available functions come close.
