Myspace for vbulletin 3.0.7
Not yet fully finished (but close) I have melded many hacks from here and created myspace user profiles and usercp for vbulletin. Everything layout wise is inspired by myspace but you have a lot more than they do too.
To check out a member profile go here: http://hangout.altsounds.com/altsounds To check out the UserCP your gonna have to signup on the site but it'll be worthwhile for all music lovers out there as there is loads of music videos that you can add to your profile with one click of a button. Props go out to the coders of vbbuddies and Webpage and Guestbook for two important factors for making this work (the buddy list and guestbook). The member profiles are completely conditional so if you don't have something i.e. no extra images, the block won't show. Looking for comments and ideas on how to finish this off and then will be willing to share my work. Am undecided whether or not to make this a pay hack or not seeing the amount of work that has gone into it. Check it out and let me know what you think. |

I will absolute use this if you have a version for vb3.5 final. Yours will get the HoTM I believe. if it can be enchanted to allow drag and drop customizing the page like google.com/ig or MSN myspace it would be the top hack. |

registered on your site, and i have to say you did an amazing job with it. it would be awesome if you could port this to vB 3.5 though now that it's gone gold. i just picked up a 2nd license of vb after seeing what you did with your site.
not sure if you could charge very much with danny's vbspace hack coming out for free. his includes journals, groups, etc. plus it's made for vb 3.5. if you can port it to 3.5 before he releases his then i'm sure people would pay for your work. i sure would. |

Does this have some sort of feature for viewing random/new users? e.g. Newest 10 users, Popular Guys, Popular Girls........ BTW, I found clicking on chat came up with an error... I don't know if that's cuz it isn't implemented or what... *edit* Just signed up, see there is at least a guys/girls thing. Perhaps some kind of proper Country drop-down box... and then the ability to search for users by country? |

Yes it has a CMPS module. If you go to my memberlist.php you can see it right at the top.

Awesome that you're already a member of altsounds :D. You should do some reviews and / or interviews for us if you;re any good at writing. We're always on the lookout for writers.

I am actually quite good ( Wen i wants too beez haha ) as a do have 2 online jobs for writing, ect :p. But honestly, I have so much on my plate it isnt even funny. But if you have time give me a PM on any of my IM clients I have in my profile and I sure will talk to you :).

I wouldn't say that man, I am sure they will BOTH have great hacks, there both experienced coders, dont down another one just cause he hasnt worked on it quite as much as one, altsounds works on his so hard cause it is FOR his board, and he is just nice enough to release it. Dont down something till you see it ;)...but honestly I am not sure if danny is porting this or not but I know he asked if alt wanted him to so.

I haven't recieved a pm from altsounds, so I'm assuming he is not interested. vB Space is still being developed, wheather people decide to wait or not.

although the site took some time to load I think its very well done. Port it over to 3.5 and charge people to use this. I'm sure its a guranteed hit. By the way do you have degrees of separation, for example, you could use that to find your nearest group/friends with similar taste in music and so forth. A very good hack. Well done! Hanif |
