Yummy! Fairy cakes
 

Just made some fairy cakes. My favorite. :)

I'm hoping they turn out OK coz it's my first time baking in my new oven.

Anyone want one when they are cooked? Gonna be another 15 mins.

But mine aren't iced and don't have cherries on top as they are still too hot.

They taste good though.

You can't share now either coz there's only a couple left. I knew I should have made more than a dozen.

I don't know about that. If my mother can keep whatever she and my step dad cooked for thanksgiving warm for a hour car ride to my aunts house, I'm sure she can keep cupcakes warm for a few hours ;).

And I am only about an hour away from you brad :) :)

LOL Fairy cake isn't a funny name?

By car yeah. By bus .................... lets say it would take me all week.

No. Coz when you have decorated them they either sparkle or have wings. Although we also call the winged variety Butterfly cakes.

And depending on whether they shrivel or explode in size while cooking, they can be called "Leprechaun cakes" or "Giant cakes" :D

Might make some jam tarts tomorrow. Maybe some lemon ones too. Anyone coming round for tea and cake/tarts???
