AN-net 09-02-2005 12:52 PM

must be because i am logged in on that site as well as a google. unless their grabbing the google page and then just replacing certain words and links.

deathemperor 09-02-2005 01:48 PM

not google I believe

Kingzor 09-02-2005 02:18 PM

It is google, if you dont belive me goto google.com click on "Language Tools" hit ctrl+f and type in "hacker" or look in the large list and itll bring you to that page.

or just click here http://www.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/

Google also has tons of other werid ones like "pig-latin", "Elmer Fudd", "zulu"(do they even get internet out there???) among others.

Edit:Why isnt my post count going up? This is like my thrid post.

because you're posting in The Lounge which doesn't count posts

It's just a frame - if you look at the source of the homepage, it's:

<html><head><title>600673.COM</title></head><frameset rows=100%, *" border="0" frameborder="0"><frame src="http://www.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/" name="600673.COM"></frameset></html>

It frames Google.

Boofo 09-02-2005 10:57 PM

Why would they frame something like this?

Nutz 09-02-2005 11:31 PM

They have had this 1337 area for some time, the very strange thing is that some large company firewalls use the 1337 image frame (even when you start from normal images.google.com ) eg. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...3Doff%26sa%3DN

Wayne Luke 09-03-2005 01:10 AM

Too bad they don't have Cherokee.

Jagged Tooth 09-03-2005 03:04 AM

This can already be done on normal Google just go to language options and select "Hacker".

Google Gulp and Your Privacy
From time to time, in order to improve Google Gulp's usefulness for our users, Google Gulp will send packets of data related to your usage of this product from a wireless transmitter embedded in the base of your Google Gulp bottle to the GulpPlex?, a heavily guarded, massively parallel server farm whose location is known only to Eric Schmidt, who carries its GPS coordinates on a 64-bit-encrypted smart card locked in a stainless-steel briefcase handcuffed to his right wrist. No personally identifiable information of any kind related to your consumption of Google Gulp or any other current or future Google Foods product will ever be given, sold, bartered, auctioned off, tossed into a late-night poker pot, or otherwise transferred in any way to any untrustworthy third party, ever, we swear.
