yeah just noticed other thread thought it broke or something sense people just got cash but shop not ported apparently

is there any way we can get e-mail when ushop is set for 3.5?

I work on the template side of things realisticly we haven't needed an update and I have no clue what I would do as far as a new design is concerned.

so when do think ushop for 3.5 ready/release? like estimate a date... 1 week? 3 weeks from now? next month? never?

well a little over a month ago he said we could slap him if it wasnt done by 8-1-05 so I have just given up on it.

Now that 3.5 went gold, I'm ready to port to 3.5, but this needs to be done before I jump over. :(

I thought this would be one of the first hacks to be ready for 3.5! :)

Question I installed Ucash, if Ushop comes out can I install that as well without problems (disable the points giving from Ucash?) or will I have to remove the Ucash??

Sorry if this is a stupid question.. I'm no php expert by far.

Capricia, uShop is just a way to spend the uCash, so they work hand in hand.

to my knowledge, and I may be wrong, but you need uchash for ushop to work.

Tnx hun, that is what I thought but I wasn't sure about it, now I just have to wait like a good girl until Ushop comes out ;)

but to wait hopelessly is no good. at least someone should tell everyone how it is now.

uShop is probably the biggest hack I have on my board and I don't think my members would like doing without it. I understand developers are busy, but if someone could at least give a general timeline of when this might be available for 3.5, that would be wonderful! (please, please!) I'm holding off on the upgrade for now waiting to hear and my members are getting anxious to use the new board. :nervous:

If it's not going to be available, then I'd like to know that so I can get on with life. ;)

As much as I love Ustore and ucash, they have been developing a new version for AGES!

I'm about to lose hope, since no one ever mentions the progress.

I'm about to look for another points system for 3.5. It's stupid that this ONE hack is holding me up!

Was wondering if anyone has the ability to port some of the ushop over, I just need the ability to donate points, and limiting points per thread/reply.

RivaCom you can do through the Ucash hack, I have that installled right now and works fine, if you just want to give out points that'll work fine for you :)

Capricia, how would you go about doing this. I mainly need the donate link back next to the points in the postbit. Thanks for any help.

yea i got ucash installed but my members are pist because they cant buy anything...

like 2-4 weeks, 1-2 months, 5 months and beyond. it would help alot of us out, as alot of us could then just go and find a coder that would do it for cash.

Nope what I need you definatly can't get though just ucash. Ucash gives you the points, and basic ways to earn the cash. While Ushop provided the donate, store, and ways to use the points, which is why so many people need this hack. Im only looking for the donating of the points.

yea ditto... the donation of points is a big one. Sure wish someone would give us some sort of update on this.

Ah ok, well I need that too but for now I can at least give people points through the admin cp even if they can't spend it yet.

We would do that too except, we use to run while using phpbb, a thing called the marketplace where people could buy other made goods with forum points, and it was very successful. Now 1 or 2 users a day this would be easy transaction, but anything higher would just be a pain.

yea I have daily questions and stuff, so it becomes a pain having toupdate people everyday..
