If you want to allow your users to bookmark your posts or threads, you can add this code to the end of each post.

Something like this in your postbit should work:

and right below add this:


You can modify the wording or use it on a thread level rather than a post level. Especially if you don't have that option where the thread title is quoted on a post level, because you'll have an empty title in that case.

Could you please put your instructions into a .txt file and attach it? Makes it easier for users who need to re-install this mod for any reason to find the file rather than this thread. Thank you. :)

I varied this a little by placing it between the previous and next threads.

Rethinking this mod, where it really belongs and fits well is thread level and in the thread tools drop down, with a little deli.cio.us icon next to it.

I'll redo it when vb 3.5 goes gold.

Put a conditional in it. I can't give you the exact code offhand, but open private.php and look for some variable that would be around when pulling the page. You can probably use the page name which should be defined at the top.

Eventually, once I upgrade all my sites to Gold. Were you looking for this to be on thread level? Or you wanted the Gold version? I ask because this should work fine on Gold.

It's easy to insert in the thread tools.

Open showthread and search for
Underneath it paste:

I screenshoted their fullsize logo and resized it :)

I wouldn't apply any conditionals because you want as many people as possible bookmarking your links.

You could also add this to any other pulldown menu - could have individual forums bookmarkable too!

You'd probably want to remove the image to fit in wit hthe forum tools pulldown and go to forumdisplay, search for:

and paste after (or after/before any of the chunks of code there depending on the order you want to achieve)
