VBArticle (Any Of Them)
I would really really really really really really really really really really like it if one of the creators (or anyone) could convert any of the current VbArticle system for vb3 to vb3.5. I run a game site and it works perfectly for reviews, cheat, media etc...
So if anyone can or is going to, please tell me. |
GAS please :)

Hello,
I am with Kirby. I look forward to GAS being converted! |

GAS = Geek Article System. :) Search for it here in 3.0.x hacks forum.

I'd love to see this, too! :)

However, this is a commercial script now which you have to pay for. ( www.thevbgeek.com ) |
sometimes it gets on my nervs when u have to pay for this kind of hacks i mean if it was like $10 dollar or so everyone was going to pay that money, but when i see crazy prices on this hacks it just makes me vomit. No offence but i rather wait for a free article such as cinq`s vbarticle rather than paying 15 pounds for the GEEK system.
Or u can use vbadvanced same shit just u have to spend a bit more time on it. No offence for no-one but for myself i want pay anymore money for vbulletin as i have spent alot since now. |
Whats crazy about £14.95? Considering that it is at least 10x more powerful as GAS and does reviews, tutorials and virtually 1,000 other types of layouts (and was entirely re-written from scratch) - I dont see how its expensive.
Anyhooo - Im not here to plug the system, nor defend charging a piddle for something that is one of the largest extensions I know of. I am sure there will be other options availible soon for free and when time permits I will also look at doing a free LITE version to boot. njoy |
I need a article script for my forum, as i cant find one for vb3.5 im going to make my own, dont ask me to release it cause if anyone asks, no one will get their hands on it.
|
If its a good article script and working within vB 3.5 and future version I am willed to pay.
I love cinq's article hack very much but there is no new version available so far. :-( Articles are a major part of my page and I want to have them in a seperate custimizeable area and not as a forum. I would also like to see a new article system! |

thing is 1 yr mod. license is that you can only use it for a yr then pay again or is it pay once upgrades for 1 yr you dont define it in clear view and where is the aup/tos for the software
|
1 year access to downloads for the product. After that, a renewal is needed at a discounted rate.
Havent gotten around to that yet as my priority isnt in luring customers but making kick ass products. However its still a good point and Ill get to it in the next couple of days. Thanks! |
£14.95 is a bit much for a script, when really thinking about it. I mean its prolly good but a free one would accomplish what i need just as good, but then again it does look pretty good. <_>
Edit: Ehh I bought it. |

... The Geek... please don't start again to advertise here... put a link, nothing more...
people that require answers from The Geek would have a better support on his own site. |
