How do u make forum online know the location? :tired:

Unknown Location
/forum/postreports.php

Unknown Location
/forum/attackothers.php

Any ideas? :nervous:

It depends on the version you are using.

Then, your changes will be in functions_online.php. The easiest way for me to tell you how to do it is to point you to a hack that does it so you can copy their instructions. Inferno Quiz for 3.0.x is a good choice. Look in the install file, find the functions_online.php changes and emulate them using your own file names.

is that not a quiz hack though? i only want users online to know what the link is insteatd of :Unknown Location it would say Attacking or somthing

Yes, it is a hack. But, in his hack, he does one thing that you want to do. Read his install instructions so you can see how he does the online part. Don't install the rest of the hack. Don't use his code exactly. Change it to do what you want.

That's the easiest way to learn how to do new things when you are coding. Emulate somebody who already has done it.

well seems i was getting helped i thought why not get help on that as well? instead of a new topic.

You're a genius. Thanks so much for pointing this out because I was having one hell of a time finding a quick solution to custom non-vB page WOLs.

Why can't someone just make this a sticky and save the trouble of peeps asking over and over again? I also don't see the point of making this an official hack or mod since it's a basic but useful file edit.
