HotM August

Which Modification should win this contest this month?

It's you, who decides!!!

Darkwaltz4 08-15-2005 04:16 AM

oh wow, im actually first post :-p and first view....will take it, and edit later :D

edit: ill say miserable users, because all of the options are purely hilarious, and its something admins should use when theyre bored and want to torment the more annoying people :-p

Vizionz 08-15-2005 05:00 AM

this one is real close inferno warning and miserable users are both great hacks and then u got another inferno product with the shoutbox

welcome pm and user pages are both great hacks as well.. user pages could use some additions and it could be the greatest hack on the forum..

but yeah miserable users is awesome cause its better then a ban..... but inferno hacks are always great . so miserable users hack of the month inferno productions hacker of the month :)

Snake 08-15-2005 10:35 AM

My vote goes to Inferno Warning System v1.2.

Blam Forumz 08-15-2005 10:43 AM

Warning system!

Looks like ZT is winning :O

uae 08-15-2005 10:53 AM

Miserable Users got my vote.

amykhar 08-15-2005 12:18 PM

Why are beta hacks included in this? Userpages isn't done yet and is marked as beta.

bigcurt 08-15-2005 03:00 PM

Well either way its going to be close this time, congratz to all in.

~Curt

hydrostatic 08-15-2005 04:15 PM

Shoutbox. Though Inferno Warning System is pretty good, but I like the Shoutbox better.

I never had any problems with any of ZT's hacks. They are usually very precisely done and errorless. That's why I like his work.

Bro_Joey_Gowdy 08-15-2005 04:52 PM

*Rowdy votes for the "Inferno Warning System v1.2" since the 'RPG Inferno' isn't (or cannot) be listed*

Then again, I draw a difference between saying "I vote for [hack name] because it is excellent and useful to me" and saying "I vote for [hack name] because [user] made it".
Obviously you wouldn't agree with me on this because it was your ass being kissed :p

Good for you then :) I fail to see how this is related to the part of my post you quoted, though.

monstergamer 08-15-2005 08:56 PM

my vote goes to [AJAX] vBShout v1.5 but it was a toss up between that and the warnning system

got to love those two mods :)

yoyoyoyo 08-15-2005 11:50 PM

dang- I was sure my "homeland security advisory system" was gonna beat out all the rest! j/k

I think that this is gonna be a tough race... not sure yet who I will vote for since they are all so good.

Since that part of your post was stating that he's being a total "fanboy" and implied that he's biased when he voted, I just wanted to say that ZT is a decent hacker who contributed a lot to this community. That's all... =/

wow you totally took what i said out of context.. yes i said because ZT made it AND because its one of the Few AJAX hacks out there.. so far everyone of ZT's Hacks i installed has worked Flawlessly.
I shouldnt feel obligated to vote for a hack simply because i use it or not.. i voted for its uniqueness(in this case the AJAX makes it unique) ease of use, time to install and it ACTUALLY works!!!
so dont get your panties in a ruffle just because you took what i said out of context and decided to blow it up into something so trivial.

edit*** looks like im not the only one who thinks it should get HOTM

[AJAX] vBShout 1.6 gets my vote - I've installed it for a number of clients and have been fairly impressed with it.

Vizionz 08-16-2005 05:50 PM

Doesn't that say even more about your hack? ;)

Link14716 08-16-2005 07:19 PM

I'm voting for vBShout because it saves me from porting my bloated shoutbox.

I love ZT's shoutbox, but yours was awesome! I miss it horribly. :(

LOL - Good luck. :) I have had quite a few, but always seem to lose out to someone else. :(

pepel13 08-24-2005 08:26 PM

vBShout got my vote !

Yorixz 09-03-2005 11:14 AM

"Give Your Users a Custom Page on Your Site" got my vote (had to chose between this one and the warning system, both are great), I hate shoutboxes ;)

yoyoyoyo 09-03-2005 11:40 AM

I had to go with amy's custom userpage. It was a tough choice, but in the end I decided that we should "spread the wealth." ZT can't always be a shoe in! :D Also- Amy's hack is awesome.

Guest190829 09-03-2005 09:09 PM

Wow this is so close!

amykhar 09-03-2005 11:38 PM

Holy heck. When does the voting end?

Shouldn't it be ended already since it's now SEPTEMBER and not August?

Adrian Schneider 09-03-2005 11:47 PM

As soon as your ahead amy. ;)

amykhar 09-04-2005 12:13 AM

I'd be ok with that idea :D Of course, a tie would be cool too.

Amy
