Right-click on the URL and select Properties.
What does it display? |
The avatar url = http://www.lairnoc.com/image.php?u=1...ine=1123842038
the place were the avatar schould be but now is the link is http://www.lairnoc.com/member.php?u=1 i really don't get is in vbb 3.07 no problem, but :( |
anyone got a solution?
|
I see an animated, striped Heart there (seems to be the same like your Avatar here).
URL = http://www.lairnoc.com/customavatars/avatar1_1.gif |
I'm getting the same problem since I upgrade from 3.0.6 to RC2
Avatars are showing up on some users, but not others It just says "XXX's Avatar" with a red x If I right click it and goto properties, it shows http://www.uoforums.com/image.php?u=...ine=1113512291 |
Do you use Firefox? Because when FF can't render an image, it usually displays the alt tag, if the image has one... in vBulletin's case; the alt tag would be lairnoc's avatar. So the image is probably broken...
|
No i'm using Internet explorer
The image did work before the upgrade Mine also went awol, but I fixed that by removing it and readding it |
No, I was talking to lairnoc, I guess I should've Quoted him... but when I was typing my post, he was the last post... not yours.
|
Ah ok, sorry

well the link to the avatar is still the same but it is by everyone's avatar. all users have this weird link since i upgraded from 3.07 to 3.5 rc2 instead of their avatar. but if you click on the link you get some memberproperties it is so making not sense at all... Quote:
I allready uploaded my avatar again, but no solution wenn i look to the source i notice this [qoute]<td class="alt2"><a href="member.php?u=1"><img src="" alt="lairnoc's Avatar" border="0" /></a></td>[/quote] i am missing the img url but were can i make sure that that part is linked its got something to do with the $avatarurl anyone know how to adjust this ? I reverted my Postbit_legacy template, but it didn't work for me
Some user's avatars show up, some don't odd |
also revert the postbit :)

thanks ...i reverted them both and every thing is OK... thanks again |
I think its because in Vb 3.5 the avatar url is called like this;
Code:
...<img src="$post[avatarurl]" ... Code:
...<img src="$avatarurl" ... |
