It's not that much, especially since he has all that RAM. @___@ My 1.5gig RAM does not compare. It's such a waste, I hardly use 50% of it. ;)

how much of that 2 gigs do you use?

Haha, hardly any of it! I bought this machine to play video games, but now I'm using it to run several sites...I'm an idiot I suppose :speechless:

I just purchased a new computer for games and I optioned for 2 gigs of ram :nervous: I hope it won't be a wasted purchase

Are you aware that not all computers use the same ram cards or w/e?

At least with all that RAM you never have to worry about it not being enough, and it'll keep you're PC running longer than if you used 512. If you can afford it, why the hell not? I can't... I have 512 lol.

I heard actually that having around 2 gigs of ram could actually slow down the games you play on your computer... i sure as hell hope not :angry:

I have 2.0gigs of DDR ram, and I don't use 50% of mine either. But the only thing that ever stays open are ICQ, Yahoo (Not Dead), AIM, MSN, Gmail, and my apache server.

I bought 2 GB of RAM so I could play BF2 ...And it's still sitting on my desk and My wife won't let me buy another game until I upgrade her computer.

EXACTLY. My computer just came and now I can't install BF2 on it :(
